Galleri Hvelvet er Oseana sitt temporære utstillingslokale.
Sidan Oseana Kunst- og Kultursenter opna i 2011, har Galleri Hvelvet hatt skiftande utstillingar av alle slag: Separat- og kollektivutstillingar, sals- og utlånsutstillingar, vandreutstillingar fra Nasjonalmuseet og utstillande kunstnarar av lokal, regional og nasjonal storleik. Dei kunstnariske uttrykka har spent frå måleri, grafikk, skulptur og tekstil, til performance, videoverk, lydkunst og installasjonar.
I samband med utstillingane, iverkset vi ofte også kunstfaglege arrangement og samtalar.
Søknad om utstillingsplass:
Dei fleste av utstillingane i Hvelvet kjem i stand ved invitasjon, men vi tar imot søknadar frå profesjonelle biletkunstnarar og kunsthandtverkarar. Både enkeltkunstnarar og grupper kan søka. Meld di interresse på evelyn@oseana.no med ei kort prosjektskildring, CV og relevant biletmateriale, så tar vi kontakt dersom vi ønsker å gå i dialog om utstilling. Galleri Hvelvet is Oseana’s gallery for temporary exhibitions.
Since Oseana Kunst- og Kultursenter first opened to the public in 2011, Galleri Hvelvet has held temporary exhibitions of all types: solo and group shows, commercial exhibitions, presentations of works supplied by generous lenders, travelling exhibitions from the National Museum in Oslo, and shows featuring artists with a local, regional or national profile. The artistic expressions have ranged from paintings, prints and sculptures to textiles, performances, video works, sound works and installations.
Parallel to the exhibitions, we often have a programme for the public which includes art-related events and talks.
Applications:
Most of the exhibitions in Galleri Hvelvet take place through invitation, but we also accept applications from professional visual artists and craft artists. Both individual artists and artist groups can apply. Register your interest at evelyn@oseana.no with a short project description, CV and pertinent pictorial material. We will contact you if we want to discuss a possible exhibition. In the email’s subject field, please write ‘Søknad til Hvelvet’.
