Galleri Hvelvet

Galleri Hvelvet er Oseana sitt temporære utstillingslokale.

Sidan Oseana Kunst- og Kultursenter opna i 2011, har Galleri Hvelvet hatt skiftande utstillingar av alle slag: Separat- og kollektivutstillingar, sals- og utlånsutstillingar, vandreutstillingar fra Nasjonalmuseet og utstillande kunstnarar av lokal, regional og nasjonal storleik. Dei kunstnariske uttrykka har spent frå måleri, grafikk, skulptur og tekstil, til performance, videoverk, lydkunst og installasjonar.

I samband med utstillingane, iverkset vi ofte også kunstfaglege arrangement og samtalar.

Galleri Hvelvet is Oseana’s gallery for temporary exhibitions.

Since Oseana Kunst- og Kultursenter first opened to the public in 2011, Galleri Hvelvet has held temporary exhibitions of all types: solo and group shows, commercial exhibitions, presentations of works supplied by generous lenders, travelling exhibitions from the National Museum in Oslo, and shows featuring artists with a local, regional or national profile. The artistic expressions have ranged from paintings, prints and sculptures to textiles, performances, video works, sound works and installations.

Parallel to the exhibitions, we often have a programme for the public which includes art-related events and talks.
